Gary has a career that stretches across continents as well as sectors, from environmental services in Africa to work in the Middle East and South America, working with multinational and inter-governmental organizations such as UN FAO, World Bank, and WWF. His interest in the environment began as a graduate trainee at an international insurance company. Each graduate was asked to choose the issues that they thought would affect the sector in the future. It was 1990, and Gary had the foresight to choose global warming.
